Why did Tony Montana and Alejandro Sosa speak with each other in English with Spanish accents in Scarface?
Would it not have been best to talk in Spanish since it was their Mother tongues?
It don't make no sense.

First, they were speaking ‘Cuban’. If they had spoke in their native Cuban, then we (THE AUDIENCE) would not have known what they were saying and movies are made for us, the 4th wall. Even movies with aliens in them do this. We know the aliens can’t speak English, yet they are speaking perfect English. But we are smart enough and have the imagination to know what language is actually being spoken. If they used subtitles for every instance of this, then movies would not attract as many viewers and thus would lose money.
Us American Gringos would have to read subtitles if they did… I’m glad they did it in English. Great movie by the way!
so that us americans can enjoy it lol
was a very good movie
