Which language should I learn at school?
In California, it's required of high school students to learn a foreign language for two consecutive years, with the same language, to graduate. My choices are: Spanish, German, and French. One of good friends is taking German and she seems to really like it (plus it sounds cool too). But on the other hand, my mom says it would be beneficial to learn Spanish since I'll get more money later on in life if I decide to translate something (but i don't think I will get any more money because I'll probably drop the class as soon as I have my credits). French is last on my list just because it sounds like a hard language to grasp. So I'm looking for an easy to learn language that's fun to use, and one that I wouldn't mind doing the homework for. Any suggestions?

based on where you live, I would say you should learn spanish. It will come in handy for you, and there are alot of spanish speaking people in america. you could always try more than one language in the future
I say Chinese.
Well, it always goes back to you and what you feel will benefit you later in life. My opinion is to take spanish since it is almost like a second primary language in the united states. It can also help you later on in life since many people speak it so if you actually meet somebody spanish and cannot communicate you will be able to understand. I took spanish and it is very very fun, interesting and easy. I do not regret it and am thinking about taking it in college as well.
adios senor/senora
French. Its very easy to pick up on as long as you can pay attention to how the teacher is pronouncing the words. If you pay attention during class, things will be really easy. If not… I can’t say the same for you.
I have two friends taking German, and they are A students, but gettings Ds in German 1. They said that it is a super hard language to speak, and writing it isn’t much easier.
Good Luck! (:
