What's the best way to learn Spanish fluently?
I'm half-Dominican, but my father wasn't able to to teach me Spanish when I was younger. I'm a junior in high school right now and taking a Spanish course, but I want to learn more. What's the best way to learn the language fluently and quickly?

Que?
Rosetta stone
Move to Spain
Take a course at a schoo…It doesn’t just happen over night :/ …It takes time.
Order that Rosetta Stone program thing…
It’s supposed to work well.
If your parents can speak it well, let them learn you… or just get some books, practise and get better. And continue that Spanish course.
P.S: This should go in Languages.
Go to Spain.
probably to go and live in spain, but you might not want to do that, so idk
spend some time with naitive speakers that dont use english then you’ll have to pick it up. it works if thats not possible just watch tv shows in that language and listen to songs in spanish and use what you learn as often as you can.
good luck
make spanish friends and ask them to speak only spanish to you… or!! HEY!!
visit a community or ppl that are illegal and talk to them, they wont know english so if you want to communicate with them, you’ll HAVE to learn spanish
By listening and talking to a native-speaking spanish.
Get a tutor to get extra practice and learn more, or go to Spain for a vacation =]]
rosetta stone… i thought the commercial was just a gimmeck, but spent $700 and it actually does work, and easily/well.
Go to spain
Try to meet Spanish speaking friends, so that you can actually talk to native Spanish speakers. The best thing to do when you´re learning a foreign language is to be immersed in a Spanish speaking context. If you cannot talk to Spanish speakers, then watch Spanish spoken movies or Latin American channels.
La forma más rápida dejamos de traslada a un país de habla español!
Good for you! They say that total immersion in the language, which isn ‘t possible is the best way. If you can afford it, get the Rosetta Stone Spanish language program and use it at home to study on your own time.
If your dad is still alive and you live with him, ask him to speak Spanish to you when you are at home together…also, perhaps you could find a relative, such as your Grandma, or a neighbor who speaks the language and would be happy to talk to you in the language.
Not only is it awesome that you want to hang onto the heritage of your family, but knowing Spanish will be a great tool for any future job you have….in the next few decades, more Americans will speak Spanish than ever….to be able to speak to them will mean you are more marketable in your job!
Also, see if you school has a Spanish Club…they often meet after school, and sometimes have service projects, and you might get to meet Spanish speakers that way.
Have you thought about visiting Spain or the Dominican Republic during the summer through an exchange student program? Your teacher might know of some programs that can work for you.
Keep up the good work–I like your "go get ‘em" attitude…it will take you far in life, young man! Always take the initiative instead of sitting back and waiting for something to come to you!
The road ahead will be long, our climb will be steep.
rocket language courses.
