Learn to Speak and Understand Spanish
I take Spanish class, and I can translate lots when it's written, and even when others speak it, but how can I learn to speak it, remember what everything means, and communicate clearly in Spanish?Thanks!

Hey.
Well i will give you a spanish tip.
Go to http://www.pentonoverseas.com and order penton 24 spanish course, it comes with 8 cds and about 27 hours of talk time.
The course is real good. It gets right down to businiess about speaking spanish and just says an english sentence and then the spanish sentence.
Keep playing it over and over untill you know the cds like a song.
When I had the course I would play it all the time like its my favorite music, even while pooping, cooking and having visitors over.
You need to get a cd player in your house that can keep playing it over and over and then its like having your own teachers there. Some cd players have automatic repeat so when the cd ends you can play it again.
You need to speak out the spanish outloud like they do. The people who made the course recomend that and I would too because you get a feel of how its spoken while listening.

Also http://www.studyspanish.com has some good courses to practice spanish too.

The second plan is better.
Spanish is a very difficult language to learn.It will take many years of day and night work.You need exposure.Read,write,listen and speak.I go every Sunday to a Spanish church.
On this forum some people will tell you that Spanish is easy.They probably know very little of it.

The best way I have used to learn spanish is the Imagination. Use a program like Rosetta Stone and everytime you think of a word you need you will remember the picture or the phrase. Before I went to Costa Rica last year I used "synergy Spanish" Its sort of like Rosetta stone in that it uses the Imagination and wording things right to remember how to say things.
If you ever get a change go to a Spanish speaking country and spend up to 3 months there. Its the quickest way possible I think.
Spanish is easy.
