What should I do when neighbors start talking spanish around me?
I have to be honest. When I start talking to a guy in town and then another guy says hello to him and they are both spanish, then they start talking spanish when I am still there, I find that very rude and disrespectful. I gradually just walk away and let them have their foreign conversation. How do you think I should handle it?

i guess its time you learn the language lol
( i need to also cause i get cursed out all the time by my friend)
if its a very spanish culture try and learn
but if not , i totally agree with you
: ) x
Depends on how well they know English. If one or both of them struggle with English then of course they are going to speak Spanish to each other. It is rude if your friend doesn’t let you in on the conversation though. If they both know English well, but they don’t want you to know what they are saying, then it is damn rude.
That is very rude if they both know how to speak English. But consider the possibility that the other person may not know how to speak English. But like I said if they both have a grasp on the English language then yes it is very rude and you should say so. Maybe nextime your friend wont do it again.
*******!!
Just pretend you got a fone call then cut
‘Their foreign conversation…’ hmm. Lol.
Well next time, you say this: "Hasta Luego!" and walk in the other direction. Oh, and try to learn some Spanish as well. Buenas suerte.
Tell them "this is AMERICA SPEAK F’ING ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!" if you want to speak your language then go back to where you came from, they come over here and think that we need to speak their language, but i went down there and not one person spoke english so why should we have to cater to them, i understand that to have a good paying job you need mostly spanish but seriously i don’t wanna have to speak it if im here in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!! its BS
Spanish is the second language in the US so learn it.,
Its like Canadians getting mad at people for speaking french., LOL
so if you really feel that threatened, keep walking away., i dont think they’re talking about you
I agree it is very rude and disrespectful. The Vietnamese in my area are just as bad. I start speaking gibberish when they do that. At least it makes the other English speakers around me laugh and feel less uncomfortable.
They’re rude and ignorant, let ‘em know it.
Aye! yo no se que decirte, digale algo a tu amigo, que te ensene hablar espanol si no esta bien jodida la cosa. Hasta luego!
