What kind of Spanish language books would you recommend for an intermediate Spanish speaker?
I need to strenghten my vocabulary with books that are not so hard to understand - figuratively and literally. Classics are also welcome.

Try with a novel of Isabel Allende. She writes nice novels and uses a simple but beautiful language. I think it could be easy to understand.
