I'm Purto Rican & my whole family speaks Spanish but since I wasn't raised to learn the language I want to learn it now. By the way I'm only 13 !!

Definitely take a class! If this means through school, then by all means, do so! It will be well worth it! In a classroom atmosphere, the teacher will teach everything nice and slowly because it takes some people longer than others to comprehend the given material. For some, flash cards help people to learn vocab. You are probably exposed to much Spanish, so listen to your family speak. Hear how they talk and learn from them. I listen to songs in Spanish. You can also talk/chat with them! If you take Spanish in school, review the textbook if you have one, and review your notes. Google learning style inventory quizzes to see what kind of learner you are, as this can help you study. There are 3 main types: visual, tactile, and auditory. Visuals learn better by seeing things, auditiories by hearning things, etc. Also, try Skype; you can talk/chat to people in other countries! Also, the benefits of taking a class outweigh computer software learning; you can ask questions! While studying with a teacher, you can get feedback and you can go to her/him for help. Teachers want to help you.
