Look for a friend that speak spanish
What worked best for me when I was learning spanish was to work with another person. We would practice with each other. Maybe another person in your class needs help as well. If you are not taking a class and learning it by yourself ask a friend to learn it with you.
I’m a spanish speaking person and I’m taking my last Spanish class. It’s very hard!!
I’d make charts of different things: especially exceptions to the rules. The best way to learn this things have been by memory only. Everyday, pick a chart and read it a number of times. Then do a couple of exercises related to what you’ve memorized. In the end, mix them around, it’s then when you’ll know everything.
Good luck!
Try and forgot whatever the grammar rules are for your mother language when studying Spanish grammar. English words are spelled and pronounced different than Spanish words so don’t try to compare them. Try reading Spanish books for children maybe.
