don’t they mean the same thing?… and i’m suposed to speak perfect spanish! :O
"Ser" is to be someone
"Estar" is to be somewhere or somehow.
For example "soy aburrido" means "I’m borring" while "estoy aburrido" means I’m bored.
You could also think of "soy colombiano" I am colombian
or "estoy en Colombia" I am in Colombia
