I already took spanish 1. I'm taking spanish 2 in August when school starts. Im looking to get ahead of the game. I already know some Spanish, but I'm not doing Spanish just to pass I want to learn the language.

Find a Spanish speaker on http://www.myhappyplanet.com and talk on Skype or something similar. It’s awesome practice! There are also lessons posted by many users on there for free!
BBC languages are very good for learning spanish, we always use it in class because it involves you too which helps a lot with learning!

I know it’s expensive, but I’ve found that Rosetta Stone is the easiest way to learn a new language. Their program shows you pictures and you match them to words with audio, and it advances along at your own pace. Their Spanish program is particularly good, I’ve been using it when I’m bored on weekends and I find myself understanding bits of spanish in movies, etc, that I didn’t before.
