Which program would I use? I want to have a college level vocabulary in English and Spanish. I noticed that freedictionary.com has audio and yahoo spanish dictionary has audio too. I would like to learn all the words there are in both languages. It seems that people do not understand my words in Spanish so I need to study with audio flashcards. Your help would make me happy. Also many English words are hard to pronunce like ait for example. I also need to study for the sat. Thank you
how do you learn all the verbs then?
Im starting high school in a few weeks and i'm starting to wonder if I should change my spanish class to study hall. The way I see it is that I don't think that I will ever need to know spanish or will I ever use it..
So yahoo people which should I take?
I asked this yesterday, are there any TRUE spanish spanish speakers on here that can talk to me on Yahoo messenger or on MSN so that way i can practice my spanish? Thanks!
Should I do everything in spanish? Including yahoo answers? cellphone, computer, tv, radio everything?
Will that make me learn faster?
If anyone out there knows Spanish, could someone drill me on Spanish verbs? I'm in second-level Spanish and we've covered the following:
- present tense -ar, -er, -ir verbs
- preterite tense -ar, -er, -ir verbs
- irregular yo forms for the above
plain jane, please contact me at perriermb@yahoo.com - I don't have a way to contact you. I'll send you details if you send me an e-mail.
I am looking to learn Spanish. I already took 4 years in high school and one year in college. So I do know some of the language. Recently, I have been trying to practice with my coworkers so that I may learn the language. I am looking to add bilingual to my resume. I am looking for somebody that can help me learn the language. In exchange I can help them learn English, give financial advice or maybe find some other information that I hold that can benefit you. We can talk via yahoo messenger text message. I want somebody who is available everyday for a small conversation, I feel like this will help me greatly. I started watching the Spanish soap operas as well. Thank you in advance.
In high school I (for some reason unknown to me now) too Latin as my foreign language...I wish that I had taken Spanish. My soon to be husband is Mexican and in 6 months we're moving to Mexico. He has taught me a few words/phrases, but I still pretty much know nothing. I've never met his family before and I want to be able to communicate with them right from the start.
I can't really afford to take a class, so what would you suggest? Also, I'm having trouble rolling my "r"s...my fiance tried to explain to me how to do it, but I just can't get it. I've looked on yahoo!answers for suggestions, but none of them helped but I thought I would ask again. Thank you!

For homework, I was given some examples of sentences, and asked if any were wrong.
It said that there might be no wrong things, or no right things, but we're doing masculine and feminine singular and plural, which I SUCK at...
Please help, my fellow Yahoo Answerers!

its real easy to get to the copa america page on espanol.sports.yahoo.com but the english version of the soccer pages is terrible. Can't yahoo just translate the espanol pages if they can't figure out how to make a good page on sports.yahoo.com?
If so what are some good websites? can you learn to read and write it like that and then go into yahoo chat rooms and speak it?
I really like Spanish Rock & Pop, but anything in Spanish I guess would do. I'll be moving to Boston in 3 months - yay - and when I visit I never think about checking radio stations. Living in Houston & w/ a huge Hispanic population you'll always have Spanish stations... Thanks Yahoo Peope!

I didn't say that we should all have to learn to speak Spanish. I simply wanted to know WHY it bothers you so much to see things in Spanish or to hear Spanish given as an option & HOW it affects you personally.
Nobody is talking about taking away your beloved English here.
Karma....did you even READ my question? Nobody here is giving me an answer to this question.
so i can practice hearing and comprehending.
my yahoo messenger is scottbob10

I do NOT see ANY benefit for Americans in learning Spanish other than making life easier for people who do not take steps to learn English. Spanish has NO economic value to the USA.

I asked this yesterday during the yahoo freeze, so I'll ask it again:
I work at an organization that offers clothes, food and education assistance to those who need it. Probably 95% of people I deal with daily are spanish. I have a translator that stays with me, but often times I think it would be easier if I just knew a little spanish to help other people or to help myself when my translator is not with me. I don't want to spend alot of money. Any suggestions?
This is what I need to say: "I'm hoping to come down there soon with my father. I want to travel and see the world, especially South America. By the way, I didn't know it was difficult to get a visa into the US."
Thanks, everybody. I'm slowly learning Spanish but lately been working overtime making some documentaries, so I haven't had time to hit the books lately. Besides, I got Yahoo/Answers ![]()
