Just wondering whether German language is being studied nowadays by so many people , or most of people prefer choosing Spanish as their second language. And If so , why do people avoid learning German and go for Spanish ? Though Germany has a strong economy and being able to speak German can be a really great asset in contrary with Spanish as the person will only be able to communicate with Hispanics ; especially those who come from south America . Thereby , they won't be able to utilize from their Spanish in Business world .

What do you think ??

Thanks in advance .

- You receive many letters from Mexico.
- Are you opening all the doors and windows.
- My brothers and I always read the news in the afternoon.
- Do you drink coffee everyday?
- I am learning to speak French very well.
- She is studying chemistry in the room.
- Do you live in brazil.
- These nieces do not do their homework
- I do not comprehend
- We drink coffee with milk
- Aren't you suffering

I would be really thankful
thanks in advance

So today I found out we have a new girl in school. She doesn't speak english, only spanish. I also found out that she rides my bus! She seems extremely nice and polite and I really want to be able to talk to her, whether in simple sentences or a proper conversation. With all the spanish I know, it'll probably just be simple sentences and phrases:p

is there anything i can do or purchase to help me learn spanish better? All I really want to do is talk to her. My bus was very loud today and the people around me, although they are my friends, were very obnoxious and loud. I hope she didn't feel overwhelmed by everything.

So yes, how can I communicate with her better? any good books or anything online? Even games, I'll try.I just want to talk to her!!!:ppp

THANKS IN ADVANCE.<3

I'm planning to go to Spain for a couple of months to study Spanish and was wondering which of the four would be the most fun (but not way too expensive) to stay in;
Malaga
Sevilla
Barcelona
Cadiz

How is the night life in those cities?
Thanks in advance :)

I just need to make sure that these sentences are grammatically correct.

1) El pan fresco, horneado en el noche frío es nuestra comida favorita.

2) Queremos decirte tú comó a hacer este pan delicioso, blando.

Pretty sure there is something off with both sentences! Thanks in advance :) (will pick best answer, btw)

Hey, I'm in AP Spanish and understand all the most common grammar concepts and can talk and write Spanish pretty decently. However, I'm having a hard time understanding the "Listening" section on our tests where we have to listen to people speak in Spanish and answer questions about it. Does anyone have tips to understanding the spoken language?

Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for a way to learn Spanish, but I'm not willing to shell out the 0 bucks for programs like Rosetta Stone. I've heard of some websites where you can talk to people from other countries, they teach you their language, and you teach them English. Does anyone know what this is, or do you have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,

i can speak Arabic and English. im learning Spanish these days... I really admire the people who know many languages. It is really great.. i would like to add another language to my knowledge, but I don’t know what to choose. I don’t even know what to consider when I choose a language to learn. I could not find any center close to my home for languages, so I need ur help to know the following: what is the language that is widely taught online. I found that I can easily pass the beginner level in Spanish language by learning it online. Pls, tell me what language you chose to learn? Why did u choose it? is it easy to learn online? How much time you spend daily to learn it?,, I really have the desire to learn.. I wanna learn a useful language that can broaden my knowledge. I got many advices like learning Chinese coz it is gonna be the international language, but I think it sounds extremely hard to learn. i thought about German, french, Turkish, Icelandic, Italian, and Korean, but I still don’t know what choose… I wish if u can help me to make a choice, I will truly appreciate it :)

Thanks in Advance =)

I'm planning to study abroad and trying to decide between Spanish, French, and Italian. Learning two languages is also an option.
Given that you had the option of learning Spanish in either Spain or Argentina, French in France, and Italian in Italy (of course. lol) which one (or two) would you choose to learn and why.
Thanks in advance :)

Hey, i'm a complete beginner in Spanish, but i really want to start learning the language. Now, i really hate those audio CD's or car leasons. I think the best way for me to learn(except for actual lessons) is a good interactive computer software, that teaches Spanish. Now, i looked aroung the web a little, but couldn't find a specific software that looked good to me(all i found were audiobooks), and i was wondering if anyone round here have any experience with any good software for that. Also, bare in mind, that while i am a beginner, i catch on quick, and have a nack for languages, so i'm looking for stuff that could take me as high as possible levelwise.

Thanks in advance, sorry it was a little long.. Avia :-)

I am looking to make some money on the side by tutoring Spanish. I'm a native speaker and a Spanish major. I'm just not sure what books would be good for beginning students.

thanks in advance

My dogs name was Buddy and my cats name was Sammie. They are both dead now.

Then we moved to West Chester. I made a lot of new friends here. I went to Adena Elementary.

My football team was the Tomahawks and my basketball team was the T-Birds.

The reason I was unable to translate these myself was because I don't know wether to use the imperfect or the preterite for the verbs. If anyone knows how that would be great! Thanks in advance (:

I want to study Spanish abroad but am a little tight on money. I was wondering if it was possible to get a source of income (getting a job) in Spain while studying Spanish. My current Spanish level is about beginner-intermediate, so it's nothing sufficient for a job that's fast pace in a totally Spanish environment. I would have to have very patient employers because my communication skills would not be so good while I'm starting out. I appreciate any answers especailly if it's from first-hand experience. Btw, if you've had experience, how did you go about the whole studying abroad thing? Did you go through a school or did you just go to the country and totally immersed yourself? How much did it cost you (including cost of living, plane ticket, tuition, etc)?
Thanks in advance :)

I'll be traveling to Peru this July and my "Idiots Guide to Learning Spanish" is not as helpful as I thought it would be! :) Does anyone have a good resource that they can suggest that would help someone learn basic Spanish to use in another country, within a few months? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I want to study Spanish abroad, but I don't know which country to go to! Every country seems so beautiful to me!! Have you ever been to a Spanish-speaking country for a good amount of time? Which continent or country would you recommend?
I wanted to go to either;
Puerto Rico (Ok, I know it's not a country. lol)
Dominican Republic
Argentina
Venezuela
Cuba
Spain

I've never even been to any of these places though, so I really don't have a clue. It doesn't have to be a country from the list I gave above, just tell me what your opinion is plz :)
Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm thinking about applying to Cambridge and a lot of people have been saying its really important to 'read around the subject' so that you can show you have a genuine interest in the interview. Obviously because I want to study French and Spanish, there is a vast number of books I could read. So I would like to know of any French or Spanish literature that you enjoyed and think would be good for me to read.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

This is for a schoolwork. Thanks in advance for your answers!

If the answer is yes...
♦Where do you study (school, institute, university) ?
♦Do you like it? Why? Why not?
♦Do you find it easy, or rather difficult?
♦What stuff is used to study (books, audio CDs/cassettes, flashcards, the internet, etc.) ? Can you say the name of the book or web site?

If the answer is no...
♦Would you like to do it?
♦How would you do it? (e.g. ask a teacher or a native speaker, buy a book on the subject, read, watch and listen to the Hispanic media--radio, TV, press, etc.)

♦Are there Spanish speakers in your area?
♦Do you listen to Spanish music? Who do you listen to? (e.g. Juanes, Shakira, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Tiziano Ferro, Julieta Venegas, Maná, other...)
♦What do you think of Spanish culture?

THANK YOU!
♦Which is your native language? (English, French, Italian, German, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Romanian, ...)
Where do you live (country) ? (the US, Canada, Britain, France, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Japan, ...)
Well. I do understand all I wrote here, and I speak Spanish. All you have to do is to answer some of the questions. Thanks again.

I'm going back to school for a global business management degree and I think I should take a foreign language. Since it seems everyone is taking Spanish I was looking for a less crowded alternative. Thanks in advance for all your help.
