I just completed Spanish level 3 this year, and I'd like to keep up my Spanish over the summer. I know there are Spanish children's books at the library, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any books that were specifically geared toward my level? Online books would be ideal.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Hi I'm Mark and I have been learning French and Spanish for a long time and now I think it would be really helpful to learn an Asian language. However i have heard that they are very difficult because I will have to learn a completely different alphabet for most (if not all) of them, so I don't know if I have the patience. What do you think is the easiest Asian language to learn/quickest to get used to?
Thanks in advance,
Mark
I'm looking for an audio CD I can play on the radio and listen to it, not an interactive CD-rom like Rosetta Stone.

Im making a curriculum Vitae for my boyfriend. Im doing it in Spanish (seeing as we live in Spain) I know Spanish but this is really starting to confuse me.
Ive done half of it already, like personal details and his knowledge of technology.
Now i need to put together the rest but im not sure how, My boyfriend can talk English and Spanish, he has done bar work and worked at the sunbeds on a beach which is an 'amacero' in Spanish. How can i organize and put this information together. He is very Active person, and gets on with tourists amazingly. He also has 'GRADUADO ESO,' Which is like GCSE's
All i need is some help organizing this information, like putting it under different titles and stuff, anything can help, even if you maybe give me a template in English and then i can try and translate, i just need help setting it out professionally.
Anything helps, thanks in advance. x
Bar work - 2008 - 2010
Amacero - 2010 - 2011
Is this how i should set it out? And what title can i put above this?
I want to learn Spanish language from the beginning.
I want to put the first steps on that road.
Anything would be helpful ..
Note : I wanna do it self learning because I don't have time to enroll in courses ..
thanks in advance
I realize that things may be tougher for me since I am older, but I'd really like to be fluent in the language. I also am concerned that the Spanish I learn won't be efficient enough to actually use in conversation. I know they say that Spanish has a lot of different dialect and slang- much like English. I just want to be able to speak it and not sound like an idiot to native speakers.
Thanks in advance
For example:
enamorarse and enamorar
abrezar and abrezar(se)
besar and besar(se)
I don't undertsand the difference and how we use each one in a sentence.Examples would be helpful
.
Thanks in advance!!

well , I've just been wondering what to study from these languages : Spanish / German / Arabic / Japanese.
I'm a senior at the moment and I'm thinking about majoring in a language of these. I don't want to study linguistics though! so what do you think ? is it good to major in languages? Is it better to take a language as a minor? I adore languages!!
Thanks in advance.
Hi there!
My native tongue is the spanish already but i wanted to know if when trying it you looked in trouble, and what was the problem.

Which verbs almost always, or commonly, use the imperfect tense? And, how do you conjugate ir in the present (or past; either or) progressive?
For example: nacer and tener (I believe - when talking about birthdays; don't take my word for it) use the imperfect tense more often than the preterite.
Thanks in advance.
Guys... thanks SO much. I already knew how to conjugate it... but thanks anyway - all of you!
i was watching this random spanish talk show and this lady mention it and said that she was already preparing for it. I'm a little worried it might be true. thanks in advance
I have a presentation I need to do for my Spanish class and I need to talk about some interesting geography in any Spanish-speaking country (Mexico, Spain, El Salvador, etc.). I tried to google it, but it kind of talks about the mountains, etc. etc.
Is there anything REALLY interesting about any country's geography so I can make my presentation more interesting? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
For example: many verbal tenses, verb conjugates different for each person, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I forgot to say that this is a mini-poll
I am told by almost all of my professors that being able to speak a foreign language, especially Spanish in some areas, will help put me above my competition. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with this issue and if this is true or not before I pay money to learn Spanish. Thanks in advance!

I would like classes with preferably an experienced Spanish teacher, who can offer me spanish lessons , of course thru the internet. I'd enjoy being your student. I'm probably an advanced beginner now, and there are a lot of key aspects of Spanish I do not understand, that are hindering my progress. I honeslty love learning languages. (Free of charge if possible, if not....) Plz leave email if yes. Thanks in advance.
