if i could at least get some websites?

This is for a schoolwork. Thanks in advance for your answers!

If the answer is yes...
♦Where do you study (school, institute, university) ?
♦Do you like it? Why? Why not?
♦Do you find it easy, or rather difficult?
♦What stuff is used to study (books, audio CDs/cassettes, flashcards, the internet, etc.) ? Can you say the name of the book or web site?

If the answer is no...
♦Would you like to do it?
♦How would you do it? (e.g. ask a teacher or a native speaker, buy a book on the subject, read, watch and listen to the Hispanic media--radio, TV, press, etc.)

♦Are there Spanish speakers in your area?
♦Do you listen to Spanish music? Who do you listen to? (e.g. Juanes, Shakira, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Tiziano Ferro, Julieta Venegas, Maná, other...)
♦What do you think of Spanish culture?

THANK YOU!
♦Which is your native language? (English, French, Italian, German, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, Romanian, ...)
Where do you live (country) ? (the US, Canada, Britain, France, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Japan, ...)
Well. I do understand all I wrote here, and I speak Spanish. All you have to do is to answer some of the questions. Thanks again.

I get annoyed when I hear people saying that Spanish is the easiest language to learn. Do people think that they can make a Spanish word simply by adding an O at the end of English words? Those who say Spanish is easy because of its simple grammar have obviously never tackled the Spanish preterit tense. It has irregularities that would blow your mind. Spanish might be easier, but it is by no means the easiest. It has 14 tenses, which is more than French and English, and sometimes there are no clear rules on which to use, you just have to go with your gut. Also, have you ever notice how fast Spanish speakers speak? It makes learning to listen very frustrating. I've been learning Spanish for five years, and I still haven't mastered it.

I have a job interview this week at a retail store. I live in a city with a high population of Spanish speakers with many who only speak Spanish. I have worked retail here before and it was definitely a hindrance. That employer never asked if i spoke Spanish however, assuming I did since I'm Hispanic.

I'm concerned this employer will ask however. If they do ask, how can I respond in a way that makes it seem like less of a handicap?

English to sell to the US? People seem to think that someone is telling them they must learn Spanish to speak to the hispanic community, but when has anyone ever asked you to learn?
Hey angry POD, I am speaking English.
Not just selling to Mexico, but to spanish-speakers in the US.
grooming, you can choose not to put things in Spanish, just dont sell you stuff, your choice.
Alll dialects of Spanish understand one another well. Dont act like if you spoke Mexican Spanish, people from Cuba would not understand you, they would and do, ask my Cuban friend.
Zoe, I am not Hispanic, I never claimed to be. My husband and I help Mexico by taking care of his parents, bring things to his aunts, uncles, friends. I take letters and packages to and from Mexico to let friends communicate with their families. In my house in Mexico, we house his Mom, Dad, Sister, Neice and Nephew. It's a pretty big place. We have a bathroom with shower, something that they didnt have before we made our house there. I sadly cannot say that I have helped all of Mexico, though I have donated to the Red Cross there for the victims of Hurricane Stan. I cant help how you percieve me, I am just stating my beliefs.

I'm a pre-med student and I plan to do a minor in a foreign language. I know english and arabic already, but I still want to learn another language. I'm confused which language to pick since I want to learn both spanish and chinese so badly. I have taken Spanish in high school (for 4 years), but I've never taken chinese (since it wasn't offered). Spanish was easy to pick up, but there was so much dreadful conjugating, and I found it somewhat boring at times.
I know that the number of spanish speaking people in the U.S. is rising, and it would be beneficial to learn spanish fluently (especially if I do become a doctor). They even offer a course called Medical Spanish at my college. But, there are ~845 million chinese speakers! and only ~329 million spanish speakers. Chinese seems so much more interesting and on the rise to dominate. Which should I pick?

A book I had said that in Spanish they don't shorten numbers like "1520" the same way that we in English say "fifteen hundred and twenty". Is this the case in all Spanish speaking countries?
Also, how do Spanish speakers say prices? In English we'll say something like "a dollar twenty" for .20, do they say "un dólar y veinte centuvos" or do they have a shorter way as well?

Most popular youtube stars are ones who speak English and are American. Are there any that are popular to Spanish speakers or any other language?

Should it be against the law to speak spanish in public unless the speakers offer a translator to non Spanish speakers ?

ya i know their trying to make the spanish speakers understand what their saying but y do they need actual voices covering up american voices y cant they just use subtitles so i can understand the english side of what their saying
