I'm working with a partner in our intermediate level spanish class at a university. Our professor told us that we have to do a 5 minute oral presentation. You wouldn't think that's too bad, but we have no idea what to talk about. I asked if we could do something about theatre in Spain or Spanish golden age theatre. She said that that would be too ambitious for us. But we can't talk about anything like The Day of the Dead. Me and my partner are all out of ideas. I'm a theatre major and she's an english major. What can we talk about?

There is this kid in my spanish class and he always looks over at me. And noope it not just eye contact. Like he stares me down with a kind of ..sexy stare lol. And then when I look over, he looks down or looks away. Today me and him had a staring contest. Next year I am going into Highschool & I am going to take a Spanish class. Everyone says it is a very hard class & the teacher is very mean. I mean i heard some pretty smart people only got B's & C's...and i'm kinda of scared..because I am already doing Algebra 2 as a freshman & Idk if i will be able to handle it all.

Is there anyway I can learn some spanish on my own over the Summer??

Right now I'm in Spanish 1 Part B (in my school it's split into two parts: Part A and Part B). Last year I did pretty well in Spanish class. I got mostly A's and B's. But this year I have a TERRIBLE teacher. She doesn't really teach us and teaches us more of the Spanish culture instead of the language. The tests are getting harder for me and I am getting lower and lower grades. I REALLY want to learn Spanish and am not giving up. So I've decided to study more on it. Is there any way to get better in Spanish? Study tips, etc. Thank you so much!

I took a spanish class but when I went to Mexico i learned that the class didn't do any good for me. We just wrote alot and I need to hear it over and over again for me to remember. I'm just looking for something the lets you hear it and it's free. Are there any?

so i have paragraphs that i have to write Spanish class but we can't use online dictionary because it messes everything up. i just need something that will help me figure out if my sentences make sense.

I was in Spanish class today, and I asked myself... Why am I doing this? I simply answered (back to myself) well duh, there are many Spanish immigrants coming in the country. Then about 10 minutes later, I asked myself another question.... Why the hell should I have to learn another language just because of immigration. Personally, I think that English should be mandatory.

Hey guys, I need to make a study guide for my spanish class, but I'm totally stuck. All I need to do is write 10 "eighth grade level" sentences in spanish, and 8 sentences using the spanish adjectives: intelectual, bajo, alto, atletico, guapo, perezoso, aburrido, activo, antipatico, intelegente, simpatico, tonto, trabajador.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you (:

I know that in spanish the verb change 6 time in the present tense and in the past 4 time. the first verbs need to be in conjugate the second verbs infinitive. you need to use the personal A. What about french grammar? Is there like spanish the verb end in -AR, -IR, and -ER. what are the end is french?

I don't have a problem studying on my own but at times I run into problems and find things confusing especially problems finding ways to study and help myself learn and remember things. I don't have the opportunity to attend a spanish class so if a teacher wouldn't mind helping me find the best ways to go about studying what I'm trying to study. Thanks!!!

i have been in spanish class for three years at my school and i havent really learned anything.

I have never talked to a teacher about anything except grades and tests and stuff like that. But I have been feeling really sad for a few month now, because while I love spanish class and I am doing pretty well in it, I feel like I have a huge problem - pronunciation/understanding. It is even worse that English is my 3rd language, so I have a horrible, ugly, heavy Russian accent, and I talk very fast in Russian so that doesn't contribute to good pronunciation - people understand me, and I have no accent, but I could ideally speak much more clearly. And now, Spanish, the only class i ever spoke in(because we speak in Spanish and no one has to hear my ugly English), the class I loved so much. But now my classmates understand people who have worse Spanish that I do, but don't understand me... It literally makes me cry. I want to talk to my Spanish teacher about it and what I can do and why that happens etc, but I don't know if I should? I mean, she is a good teacher, and seems to be a nice person, but I don't know if it is her job... any thoughts?
i wasn´t going to cry... i mean it´´s more of a language problem than anything else really

I am interested in learning Spanish fast because I have signed up for a Spanish class for next year. I want an easy and effective way to learn Spanish fast so that I can be top of the class next year. I am okay with buying something, but the cost should be affordable. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have the 'Madrigal's magic key to Spanish', very tempting to study on my own. Spanish teachers who know the book, please let me know if it is good to study off this book (I have no knowledge in Spanish and English is my 2nd language) compared to should I wait to take a Spanish class in my high school this fall?

I have to do a photo essay about thing that are in a dinning room, a bedroom and a bathroom for my spanish class and i tried to use an online translator and it was wrong. PLEASE HELP!

Teachers at my school want me to go to Spanish class :S
