hello everyone, I've been studying spanish quite intensively recently and came up with this spanish sentence.
"solo hablo un poco de español, pero cuando oigo una persona española hablando en español, empiezo ser confundido"
I'm trying to say: I speak only a little bit of spanish, but when i hear some spanish person talking in spanish, I start to get confused.
can you correct my spanish paragraph please?
i like anime and the japanese language & im thinking about learning it in college. i was wondering, how hard is it to learn the language?
besides english, i can speak spanish and a little bit of chinese (i learned chinese for 1 year @ school before the teacher went back to china).
i know that they are all different languages
im pretty good at singing in japanese but im terrible at pronouncing the words normally.
At the moment I'm trying to learn Spanish, so that I can learn Visayan and ultimately Tagalog a little bit easier (also, Spanish would be a good language to learn).
I was just wondering what other kind of languages would be useful to know in learning OTHER languages, so that I can broaden my foreign language intelligence.
i want to learn either spanish or swedish, but i can't find any free sites. my friend was talking about a free site that taught her french, but she didn't know the name of the site.
plz help! thx!
oh and i went to busuu, but u do have to pay a little bit.
I want to learn another language. English is my first language and I have a decent grasp of the Spanish language. I know a little bit of Italian from elementary school. I plan on using Rosetta stone to learn a language. Should I go with Italian because it is so close to Spanish and I already know a bit of Italian. (very basic, mostly food, animals, and colors) I think Arabic Farsi and Chinese would be more useful than Italian, but they have a different alphabet which doesn't appeal to me.
I have a few Spanish homework questions I need a little bit of help with. It says to rewrite the sentences in the present perfect tense.
1. Todos se escapan de la cárcel.
2. ¡Lo roban todo!
3. ¿Ya te despides?
4. ¿Quién escribe esta escena?
5. No le oímos bien al director.
Any help on any of these is much appreciated!
I already know a little bit about spanish (just basic Spanish 1 stuff), but I really want to get serious about learning a foreign language.
Do you think spending 2-3 months in a foreign country like mexico would help me learn the language? (not to be proficient, but good enough to hold a regular conversation with someone about things). I don't just mean stuff like "hi...what's up?" I mean stuff like, "I used to live in Colorado. It was really pretty there. The mountains are gorgeous, and the people are nice too. When I was 8, I moved to Georgia to be with my Aunt and Uncle Burns, and I've lived there ever since."
Anyway...so basically my question is just, how long will I need to immerse myself in a foreign country to learn Spanish?
vocabulary-wise, I'd like to know about as much as a 7-year-old

I'm in Spanish I Honors due to being on high honor roll last year, so I'm kinda falling behind a little bit. How can I make it easier to learn this new language for me?
I don't understand anything
or in newspapers that i read?
I can speak a little spanish and can talk a little bit in spanish. Sometimes i might listen to the radio i can understand some things they are saying sometimes i might can only understand the topic they are talking about. What can I do so I can understand spanish on the radio or in the newspapers more.
I might read something in some newspapers. Sometimes it might have a verb there that i havnt heard of before and i might look it up in some spanish verb book and it isnt there.
What is good so you can understand spanish more listening to the radio or watching tv or reading newspapers.
What is good to understand spanish while talking more.
they threw me in spanish 3 and i can speak a little bit, but i don't know how to write a single word. i asked to change but they only put me in spanish 2 and it's still hard.
I can understand spanish. I can also understand a little bit of italian. However, spanish is my concern right now.
I can't speak spanish though, it just doesn't come out right. And I can't process the words fast enough.
How can I get better? I want ADVICE.
I am in 10th grade in new york. I took french and now regret it because I have learned to love the spanish language. I work at a restaurant with many spanish and peruvian people. They speak spanish all the time and I feel left out and curious. I love the sound of spanish and I know a little bit. I don't know where to start. I would love to learn the language and be fluent. I would study hard, I'm not looking for a quick fix. How do I find resources outside of school to learn spanish?
My significant other/partner in crime/best friend in the universe is Mexican. He speaks fluent English and Spanish and is able to alternate between the two with ease. His parents speak a little bit of English but prefer to speak in Spanish. His sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews are all bilingual. When they're around his parents, Spanish is the language they speak. I love them all to pieces but I wish I could be apart of the conversation more. They translate for me but it would be better if I just knew the language.
I know it may take some time for me to learn, but I'd like to seriously buckle down and get started. Audio tapes have helped me in the past (learning French). So I'd like to go that route again if possible. The problem now is choosing one. The company who made my French tapes does not offer Spanish. I have no price restrictions, it’s quality I’m after. Do you know of a good Mexican/S.American Spanish audio-guide?

I'm thinking of taking a beginners Spanish course at university. Is it a hard language to learn? Do people tend to pick up the basics quickly?
I can only speak English. Although, I did a little bit of German a while back.
Can you share your experience of learning Spanish?
i live with my man who's whole family speaks only spanish except him! i have been tryin to learn spanish and just can't seem to pick up on it! i even have a spanish cd and watch dorra a little bit but nothin. does any body have ideas ?
I really want to learn spanish. I thought about getting Rosetta Stone but it's a little too pricey for me. Does anyone know if "Learning Spanish Like Crazy" (Vol. 1 & 2) really works? I can't seem to find anything negative about it online when I google it! And hey I'm just being honest, that kinda worries me a little bit! Can something really be THAT good that there is ZERO complaints about it?? If you have used this program, please let me know what you think about it.
