im learning spanish right now and its going ok but im still having a hard time holding on to some of the information im learning. what study tips can anyone give me. also right now im using a computer program its pretty good and im also using free translation.com it helps with sentence building. like if i want to say can i be here later it gives you the translation(puede estoy aqui posterior). its very help full because it actually gives you the sentence they way you would say it as if you were talking to someone instead of the way the book shows you. but can that site or another site help with pronunciation. or is there a site that you can type in a sentence in english and get the translation in spanish. also i want to get my sign language back. when i was born my hearing developed slow for some reason and as i grew up it got better so i learned to sign at an early age and later when my hearing started to get better i stopped signing and never did it again. i want to learn again because i enjoyed it but didn't appreciated what i had. is there a site to learn signing again. thanks for the help
right now im all over the place. i have a computer program, using free translation.com,using a book, watching tv and listening to radio and getting help from friends so im trying every way.

I am enrolling in the fall semester at my local community college and I would like to learn Spanish. So would it be better to sign up for Spanish 1? Or use a Spanish computer program such as Rosetta Stone? I would like to save money but at the same time I would like to learn a 2nd language. I took French in High School and I somewhat regret that lol
Any suggestions welcomed and best answer gets points, thanks.

I have a computer program for spanish, but it's hard to learn! any tips or tricks??

I want to learn a new language, but I don't know how to go about it. I've been thinking about getting a cd, or computer program, but I don't know which one to get. I want to ultimately learn Russian, Spanish, German, Portugese, and Latin.

I am gonna graduate from high school next month and I took Spanish as a freshmen and I didn't learn a thing. All I know is the numbers 1-100. Since I got discouraged with Spanish I switched to French and the same story. I actually wanted to learn French but I don't know, maybe I am just language impaired. But I REALLY want to learn German and Italian. Either one first. What do you think is the best approach for me? I don't have the money to spend time in Germany or Italy. Do you think I should try the computer program Berlitz German Premier or use Pimsleur CDs and books, or take a class. I do have somewhat of a stutter problem so maybe thats why I didn't learn Spanish or French, maybe I concentrated more on having fluent speech than the target language. You are more than welcome to send me a message if you have any questions.

I've got a seven-language computer program, but have been working mostly in French and Spanish, and really want to master them. There are several brands of French and Spanish software to choose from. Which is best, and why?

I am taking spanish one this year in high school and over the summer i would like to continue learning so i don't forget anything.

What is a good computer program I could use.

I don't want it to be review i want to keep learning new stuff

I'm hoping to hear your recommendations for a Spanish computer program. We were using the Rosetta Stone through the public library which is no longer available. I'm sure we could find it through another library, but we'd like to change programs as he went through all the lessons. We speak Spanish in the house and I've looked into several local classes, but I'd like to find a program to keep his ear in the language and continue to expand his vocabulary. He really enjoyed the Rosetta Stone. It was the first thing he did every morning and he reminds me daily to look for a replacement. I know they have several at the electronics stores, but it's difficult to know from the outside of the package. If someone knows of one that has good speak recognition allowing him to participate in conversation, that would be great as he's just gaining courage to speak. Thanks much for your input.

My 5 year old son is extremely interested in learning Spanish and Chinese and I'd like to find a video or computer program to help him. He reads at a 4th grade level so something recommended for an age range of up to 10 would probably be okay. Low cost is preferable, but willing to look at all recommendations if it's worked well for you.
