spain. i went there to study and it was great.
Studying in Spain was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever done. Although Mexico has many tourist hot spots and good food etc., it doesn’t have the same cultural vibe that Spain did. I stayed in Barcelona for five weeks and then stayed with a family in Madrid for about two. I’ve also stayed in Mexico City and a small village in Costa Rica. Spain beats them both by far.
I am a representative for Spanish language schools in Spain,Latin America etc.I think Spain is great if you have not been there.
I can mail you some prospectuses if I have your mailing address,PO Box etc.
Good luck. It’s a best thing to choose to learn Spanish!!
SPAIN!!!!!! No doubt. I have been around a lot and visited different Spanish speaking countries… None matched the uniqueness of SPAIN. I have participated in the best summer program abroad and everyone that did, said same thing, after having participated in other trips around Central and South America. It´s simply the best and most complete one because it combines classes and also super fun excursions and activities, including Guggenheim Museum, Hiking along a Roman Route, Latin Dancing Course, Bullfight, Paella Dinner at Typical Spanish Tavern in Fishermen´s Quarter, and lots of Beach outings with the group, and with the most wonderful and caring host family members, as it is the MOST GORGEOUS BEACH RESORT IN THE WORLD: SANTANDER, right there where students are living!. I participated with http://www.beautifulspain.com I hope you enjoy it as much as we all did! And don´t forget that with this program, if you apply early, they can guarantee placement in a host family with kids your age. Everyone in Santander is so nice. They were so interested about us and they asked so many questions that soon you start talking for a long time while you are improving your Spanish so much. It is such a rewarding experience. I highly recommend it to anyone willing to experience the world and expand ones horizons.
if u pick spain just make sure u go to barcelona, not madrid. its barcelona where all the fun is. but spain is much costlier than chile or costa rica. if u want beaches and all, but u wanna end up sounding caribbean, go to costa rica. same with spain –if u want to sound with those funny sssss they make go there.
havent been to costa rica and its beaches but spain is a lot more fun than chile, my country. however, ull get t learn a straight spanish here and every foreigner i know here just love chile.
now, if i was an american trying to improve my spanish id surely pick spain as the fun and chicks are greater there!
