Roughly how long would it take me to learn Spanish?
I'm 13 years old, and I am very interested in learning the Spanish language, as I think it's a beautiful and very useful language.
I have been forced to learn German for 2 years, and I absolutely despise it. I find it hard to remember words of a language I am so uninterested in. I got a 0% on my big test, so I must be pretty bad.
How long do you think until I become fluent if I start learning it?

A few years to become fully fluent.
Well, there’s not really an established period of time for fully learning spanish. It all depends on how interested and motivated you are.
The grammar can take you roughly from 6-10 months to learn. However, this is an estimated, for you can take less depending on what course you’re taking and your dedication.
Now, fluency and pronunciation is something that might take a few years, probably from 2-4.
However, Again this all depends on your dedication and your surrounding environment.
Probably in a spanish speaking country it will take you about a year or two to fully dominate spanish, or maybe even just a couple months; but this seems as a pretty distant option for everyone, so it might be useful that you watch movies in spanish with english subtitles, watch videos or lessons on the internet, spend some time with spanish speakers (and allow them to correct you so you can increase your vocabulary, learn common expressions and polish your pronunciation), etc.
Good luck with your spanish classes
