Please recommend some books to help build spanish vocabulary?
I'm presently learning spanish and can carry on a conversation pretty well. I need to build my vocabulary and I'm currently looking for some books I can buy which might help. Thanks !

i suggest you watch a lot of Telenovelas, (Spanish soap opears)
that’s how i learned it.
but i watched it when i was younger, and i would watch the kiddie telenovelas too.
so find your local Telemundo or Univision and start watching.
P.s.
if you can find the telenovela "la usurpadora" online or on dvd on amazon, watch it, It’s fricken PHENOMENAL!!
If you want something "fun" rather than text book, i would say read Harry Potter (if you’ve already read it) in spanish. I enhanced my Russian and Spanish with that book, cause 1) i know it, so i know what should be said, and 2) it was fun.
similar would be the stories of Pooh, Alice in wonderland, etc. anything aimed at 10-12 year olds, since this is probably where your reading level would be.
I’m 40, by the way, and was in my late 30’s when i did this. So don’t freak that i’m advocating kids books, or putting down your reading skills. it’s just easier to learn something meant for late elementary students.
