in spanish when writing numbers do you have to say treinta y seis or can you just say treintaseis?

No, you must say treinta y seis. The other way makes no sense. Just read the words and you will see it
THAT’S REALLY HOW U SPELL 36 (TREINTA Y SEIS) BUT TO PRONOUNCE IT YOU CAN SAY TRENTISEIS(this is only the way to say it, not how u spell it)
Treinta y seis
First write the first part of the number i.e cuarenta, then" y" and last the other part of the number i. e. (cinco) ( cuarenta y cinco). see it’s pretty easy
