-Don’t use Rosetta Stone, try Fluenz. It has also has speech recognition program using your computer’s mic, but overall everything is better with Fluenz. There’s a free demo you can try at http://www.fluenz.com
-Watch a lot of Spanish movies and TV to hear the accent and how it’s spoken in conversation.
-Work on how to trill the ‘rr’. Read this explanation and repeat the phrase found here:

-Speak to a native speaker
order the rosetta stone….it really helped me
Thats gonna be really difficult to answer. I was born in the US but I learned to speak Spanish first. I started to learn English when I began kindergarten. I don’t have an accent when I speak either languages so when I listen to someone speak either language I like to listen to how they pronounce words. You would need someone who knows Spanish very well and I mean very well, in order to show you how to correctly pronounce words in Spanish. There’s really no way to do it on your own. You’re going to need help. Make some Hispanic friends! We’re here to help others learn the language that’s taking over the country (;
Most of native english speakers who are learning spanish, try to pronounce the words thinking of the way they pronounce the letters in english and that is wrong.
They have to begin learning the way we pronounce letters in spanish, then making syllables and then go on with words.
I think this is the best way to learn how to speak a perfect spanish.
