How hard is it to learn another language?? Can speak some french already?
Im going to be in my third year of french, and well, I was hoping to expand the languages I learn. Can you help me find a another language? I think something hard like Arabic would be cool, but I don't think I will give it a try. Oh, and I really DO NOT want to learn Spanish. No offense I just hear it all the time and I really don't want to learn it.

Languages tend to get easier the more you learn. Learning a language related to French (like Italian) would be easier for you than a language from another family, but you might find something completely different more interesting.
My ‘first’ second language was French, after that I learnt Japanese. They’re very different languages, but having learnt the first one, I was more aware of the processes that second language acquisition requires, which meant I found Japanese easier to learn.
Just as an aside, I would think that a language that you hear all the time (i.e. Spanish) would be the first one you’d want to learn. If people around you are speaking it, don’t you want to know what they’re saying?
Well, try something like Japanese, it’s really not all that hard or Mandarin because it could REALLY help you in communicating around the world! Or maybe german? German is good!
spanish, Italian, French, Romanian are all related languages.
I think chinese, japanese, or korean is a good language to learn. It’s not hard at all once you start taking classes…I mean of course it’ll be hard at first but trust me, you’ll get use to it and it’ll be easy like that *snaps* Good luck of deciding!!!!!!
hope this helps!
I speak spanish, english, japanese ( not perfectly though) and have been studying french for a year, it’s not hard to learn new languages but you have to enjoy it, maybe if you really get involved and sorrounded by the language you want to learn it’ll be way faster to get a grasp of it.
