HoW does the spanish language sound to non spanish speakers?
i have been very curious about this question for a long time. Some languages(i wont say which) sound pretty ugly but some like russian, french, and italian sound pretty cool. If you don't speak spanish how does the spanish language sound to you? Im Mexican, remember each latin country has a different accent. if you could explain how it sounds maybe wich sound you hear the most or any kind of description. If it souds ugly to you its fine i wont mind i just want opinions.

Very much like Italian.
Quite spanishy.
Dude i think it’s pretty beautiful, but it has a rage to it, that can be used very well to scare people off. Or you can use the beautiful side to turn people on
i started learning spanish this summer it sound really cool and beautiful language to speak
)
and i decided to learn spanish because of how it sounds
btw i’m learning castellano but i listened 2 a song in another accent but i can’t remember what accent but i think it’s generally nice
When my Spanish teacher talks, I understand about 75% of what he says. Since he talks so fast, the other 25% that I don’t understand sounds like a group of ridiculously long English words jumbled together. I mostly hear the stressed syllables.
I don’t think it sounds nice to me..
You said russian, french, italian.. etc sound pretty cool.. but to me these languages also sound weird and unpleasant. No hard feelings lol, just my opinion.:P
Spanish to begin with sounds just like one long word with no breaks. The you learn words and begin to hear them, then understand them. I like the sound of the Spanish language, but there are many different accents, even within Spain itself!
When Penelope Cruz speaks it, it is beautiful.
When Carlos from Mexico speaks it, it is ugly.
When Shakira from Colombia speaks it, or Enrique, or someone like that, it is beautiful.
Spanish – in Spain – is less appealing because of the ….yes I will call it a lisp.
So it depends on where you’re from.
I think generally, when a woman speaks it, it sounds good. (I am a woman, by the way.) When a man speaks it normally, it doesn’t sound that great (especially Mexico, sorry to say). But when a man speaks in a whisper or a romantic tone, then it sounds nice.
I love it. Im going to learn it one day. Although I prefer South American Spanish to Spanish from Spain, I dont like the lisp. But mainly because when a South American speaks Spanish it sounds more Italian. Especially when the Argentines speak it.
