How do you think it'll take me to learn Spanish?
My mom speaks it fluently so that should help. I took a year of it in school like 2 years ago, but I stopped because I wanted to learn German (which I still do, but Spanish is more useful in the States).
Anyways, I can't take a school course because I have to stick with German (although I may be able to take Spanish next school year).
So, how can I learn Spanish? Like what should I do? How long do you think it'll take? Thanks!

German? They speak it in something like 4 countires whereas Spanish is one of the languages of the UN!
Any cretin with decent English ability will master German within a few years. Its not a challenge.
I had a mate who learnt Spanish within around 4 years – he was obsessed with it though, would listen to internet radio stations from Puerto Rico and Mexico, had Spanish language penpals and girlfriends, watched South American TV – his level of Spanish is excellent. So it all depends how much effort you put into it.
try online!, once you get a grasp of it you can move on your own, i do that with Portuguese, reading online, hearing the news and stuff, and im also learning Italian lol (im a native Spanish speaker), i guess your mom spoke to you in Spanish so your ear is also used to it.
