the most important things you need to have, to learn any language are DETERMINATION and WILL, if you hve them , it will be a piece of cake =)
the best way would be taking courses in any school or something. online you can go to:www.livemocha.com and there are courses for free, you can chat with people that are learning spanish, english…
i think the best way to learn a language is through the music, cause you learn not only a lot of new words but the pronunciation too.
Try to watch tv in spanish, so, you’re ear is getting use to it and you`ll understand it easily

I do not think you can learn Spanish fast,,, is very complex .. Teachers need instruction
If you are going to be in Latin America your best course would be to take an immersion course in Spanish. Even if you only take 4 hours a day 4 times per week, it would probably be a great help and probably much better than studying on the computer. My question would be does anybody ever actually learn a second language via tapes, dvd or computer? As someone said above, it is complex. At least it was difficult for me. But I got there and am getting there by actual classes with an instructor who was fluent in Spanish, studying primarily with books and speaking a lot with Spanish speakers. And don’t forget to ask questions on Yahoo Answers. People have been wonderful helping me with Spanish grammar questions, right here.
