I recommend listening to Spanish while you drive or while you do housework. After all, we listened to English for two years before we started speaking it.
In the US we have this bad system of teaching foreign languages through grammar rules. Better that you hear people speaking it and know how they string sentences together than that you agonize over rules.
Listening to pop music in Spanish or songs for children is probably the best, in my opinion. Also, advertisements. They’re repetitive, they’re on every few minutes, and they really, really want you to understand them.
