Can anyone please explain me how to Put Direct & Indirect Object Pronouns Together in Spanish sentences?
I have been trying to understand it from a variety of sources but I still don't really get it. Could anyone please explain this to me in a simple way so that it'll be easy to understand?
And I'm currently using the past tense verbs.
Thanks.
I'm kind of getting it right now,
but I would appreciate if you state a couple more examples, so I'll be able to learn from them.
Thanks a lot!

If you’re talking about "le" and "lo/la," then i’ll try my best. When you use an indirect and direct object pronoun, le lo does not sound good. for that reason, you must change "le/les" to ’se.’
Example: He told her it. – Se lo dijiste (a ella).
He gave it to her. – Se lo dio (a ella).
More examples:
If you have started doing commands yet, here’s some examples of those.
Give it to her. – Dáselo.
Read it to her. – Léeselo.
If not, here are more examples in general.
Juan sent it (la pintura) to them. – Juan se la envió a ellos.
Isabel threw it (la pelota) to him. – Isabel se la echó a él.
Do you at least understand why le or les turns into ’se’? because, if you say ‘le lo’ aloud, it just sounds bad.
Remember that lo and la should match the object to which you are referring. And ’se’ stands in for le OR les, regardless that les is plural.
If this doesn’t answer your question, just correct me and I’ll come back and check.
Well let’s see. I am a Spanish teacher online from Argentina and I will try to explain this to you as easy as possible
… Do you know for what pronouns are used? They are used either in English or in Spanish, to avoid repetition when you are telling a story to a friend or just reading an article. As you probably already know you have the indirect object, the direct object and that you can use them together.
In order to analyse a sentence you always have to identify the verb, the subject and then the direct object and inderect object. The indirect object (IO) always goes before the Direct Object (DO).
Example:
2) Maria and I clean (limpiar) the house to Juan
In Spanish
Maria y yo limpiamos la casa a Juan
What is the verb? Limpiamos (present of limpiar)
What is the subject? Who is doing the action? Maria and I or Nosotros
To Whom the action is being taken? To Juan, then Juan is the Indirect Object
What about the verb? What is has been cleaned? The house, La casa . Then la casa is the Direct Object.
To Whom? always referes to IO
What about the verb? I he DO
Now let’s change this sentence, to pronouns, now that we have a context and we know we are talking about in order to avoid repetition.
Verb: Limpiamos
Who is cleaning? Nosotros (Maria and I)
To Whom? To Juan but remember in the chart of IO (if you do not know the chart click http://www.spanishonlineresources.com/2-spanish-indirect-object-pronouns/)
Therefore when is to him is le, therefore Le replaces a Juan, or to him.
Then What about the verb? What is has been cleaned? The house , but if we want to replace for a pronoun La casa would be replaced for LA . (remember the chart for DO http://www.spanishonlineresources.com/1-spanish-direct-object-pronouns/)
Let’s put them together
Nosotros le (always the IO first) la (DO replaces la casa) limpiamos.
Nosotros le la limpiamos? Sounds weird? at least for a Spanish Native speaker.
This is why you replace le for se…. Se can replace le or les
Then the sentence would be
Nosotros se la limpiamos
I hope you understood!
