I would very much appreciate it. It seems I can't find help from my spanish teacher, so I am looking to other sources.
Thanks!

I need to explain Spanish to Japanese people. They have, recently, arrived to an Spanish spoken country. I should ask for examples in Spanish and viceversa, as well.
Thx, SusyH

Translate to spanish.

Hello! My name is Margaret Ketchum. I am new to this school and I would like to tell you a bit about myself. I love to write songs and music. I play the piano and guitar. I love to write stories for people to read. I love animals. I have one dog named Katie. I am excited to go to a new school! I have four brothers and no sisters. I am learning to speak Spanish. I am very excited to be able to get to know all of you! Thank you!

I am currently 16 and I am longing to learn Spanish and live in Mexico. How can I do it??? Any input is greatly appreicated!

I need to pick a language to study as an elective in University and I really don't know what to do. Which aspects of each language are easier/ closer to English?

I need help forming 5 subjunctive sentences and 5 sentences about other hopes, dreams and wishes...The assignment is:
You have found a Genie. He will grant you 10 wishes for you, your friends and your family. write down 10 sentences with hopes, dreams and wishes. 5 of these 10 must be subjunctive. please help. i've formed my own sentences but i'm 100% sure they are wrong :(

Next year I have to start studying a foreign language and we have a choice between Spanish, French, Italian, and German. I picked Spanish because it would probably the most useful in the US. However i heard Spanish was hard to learn, is it?

BQ: is there any tips to make it easier to learn or do better in class next year.

When I mean fully, not every word but to understand a full conversation. I'm taking Spanish 3 and I get all the conjugations and stuff but if I ever was in a conversation, I won't be able to use it...either that or it takes me a while to process it all through my brain. Also I have trouble learning the vocab words.

i cant speak it...what are some easy and quick way to learn??Please Help I hate feeling left out on my OWN heritage.

Mexican immigrants have the choice to learn English and try to master it, but alot of them choose not to bother with it. It's not like it'll be a part of their grade in school or anything. American students HAVE to learn Spanish or else they get an F. I also noticed so many Americans support that idea. Why? How is this fair???

I want to study using Rosetta Stone and then maybe next summer visit a Spanish-speaking country for a few weeks. How long will it take me to be really bilingual? I catch onto languages well but never formally studied Spanish.

I am doing a project today and need to with a website! Thanks

I know immersion is best, but that isn't an option.
But are there any tips on how i can learn spanish?
My friend told me to do this,i don't know if it works but this is what she said:
-Watch on Spanish movie once a week(on youtube) with subtitles
-Listen to Spanish Music everyday for at least an hour
-Watch Univision/Telemundo/Telefutura/spanish television everyday for at least 1 hour

But i don't know if these would work lol
Are these good tips? And do you have any other tips?

I have quite a good memory and put 100% into everything I take on. I am starting to learn Spanish, I know everyone is different but, if I have a private tutor and practice everyday for a couple of hours. How long do you think it would take me to learn to speak Spanish to a fairly good standard?

I feel like I can't do anything if I don't know Spanish and am finding it unfair. I can't just become fluent in Spanish in a few years.

So I want to know 4 languages (good job opportunities and easier travel). I know English, am studying Japanese and French (intermediate student in both), and I WAS going to learn Mandarin Chinese..... I've tried it, and I really don't like it. If I don't like it, it won't be fun xD (and learning languages is somehow fun for me lol)
I've LOVED Italian for awhile, I wanted to switch in school for both heritage and fun, but my parents depend on me getting a scholarship for French ( -_- ). I think it's a really romantic sounding language and I love the flow of it (similar to Japanese except Japanese doesn't stress vowels and stuff......) so I REALLY want to learn Italian.

However, in the US, Spanish is VERY important now. My best friend is from Paraguay and they speak Spanish at home (it's like a second home to me lol XD) and I've picked up some Spanish from her house. I've never been able to actually get into the language. It's never really appealed to me. I don't know what it is, the sound, I have no idea. Just doesn't (Funny cause I have a completely Spanish first and last name by coincidence- the first name wasn't on purpose and the last name is cause my dad misspelled our name when changing it back to what it was before Ellis Island- so instead of a Portuguese name we ended up with a Spanish name, so everyone thinks I'm Spanish xD It's quite funny actually.... spanish tele-marketers provide endless amusement and Japanese practice).

ANYWAY.

Which should I learn, Italian or Spanish. I don't think I could learn both of them right now, seeing as I have to push myself to learn basic German in like 2 weeks because we have an exchange student coming and then I'm going there. I like German, I may take it up later, but for now I'm just learning it cause I'll need to use it sometime soon. So which one should I learn, Italian or Spanish? I love Italian, but Spanish is SO much more useful in the US (even though I wanna travel a lot)...

Btw I'm not looking for "Well ____ is easier so you should learn that". I'm tired of hearing people say "Learn Spanish cause it's easy" it was everyone's excuse in middle school because they didn't want to take a language. -_- I wanted to hit them. So I'm not looking for difficulty, I'm just asking your honest opinion. Hell I've taught myself intermediate Japanese in like 2 years and I have pronunciation like a native(been studying for 3 years but I started making an effort after the first year lol). So which one should I learn (again xD). I enjoy Italian, but Spanish is important.
Pleeeaaase don't say they are the same language. Yes I know they're similar and I can read written Spanish with no problem due to French and some vocabulary links with English (and French).

I live in Texas, and all any teachers do is stress the importance of spanish. I know a lot of people down south are here illegally, and speak no english. But, i mean, it's our country. Shouldn't they learn english.

I want to know some basic things to say on the phone to a Spanish speaking person. This will help me on my job. There is no one at work who can speak Spanish; I'm probably the best one and I suck. I already know "Hola" for "Hello". I need to know:

"May I speak to (name)?"

"May I leave a message?"

"Let me look that up for you."

"Please hold."

The words for:

gas meter
appointment
meter reading
install, installation
installer, serviceman
schedule, set
reschedule
time frame, time window
device
maintence

I need to know how to say dates, like July 12.

Please help.

This isn't racist, but a lot of scholarships are aimed toward non-whites. Are there any scholarships aimed for people who wanna study Spanish IN the U.S.?

It is good that Rosa will clean the house.

-and-

It is important that they go to the office.

And please explain :)

Could you please translate these sentances into spanish, No translation websites please:

1)I went to Spain with my whole family.

2)I swam in the sea, and went sightseeing with friends.

3)The weather was excellent! It was Sunny all day.

4)I love Spanish food because it uses a lot of tomatoes, and I love tomatoes!

5)I wouldn't like to study in Spain because I would hate to be away from my family.

Thanks in advance, i will definitely choose best answerr.

I failed Spanish. My dad told me to take German. A friend said to take French.

Which is the easiest?

something where you type in a phrase in english and then it gets translated to spanish with an audio sample

Hi, I'm thinking about applying to Cambridge and a lot of people have been saying its really important to 'read around the subject' so that you can show you have a genuine interest in the interview. Obviously because I want to study French and Spanish, there is a vast number of books I could read. So I would like to know of any French or Spanish literature that you enjoyed and think would be good for me to read.

Thanks in advance,
Mark
